121 Research Drive, Innovation Place

121 Research Drive is a LEED Silver Certified project, consisting of the construction of a new 14,000 square meter, six level office structure located at Innovation Place, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The facility is comprised of an all concrete foundation and structure; with a building envelop consisting of an exterior steel stud/GWB wall system, complete with masonry brick veneer, and aluminum curtain wall.

The exterior finish is complimented with aluminum composite panel accent bands, and architectural insulated wall panels at the mechanical penthouse.

The roofing system for the project is Modified Bituminous Roofing.

A circular tower structure highlights the North-West corner of the building.  The tower, finished in aluminum curtain wall, extends from the second floor to approximately 10m above the roof deck.

Interior finishes are completed in the main concourse areas and washrooms of all levels.  Outside walls, floor and ceiling finishes are completed in tenant areas on the upper five levels.  Tenant Improvements are to be completed under separate contract.

Mechanical and Electrical systems are complete to designated locations outside the building, with final hookup completed under Site Services contract by others.
