Abbotsford Community Recreation Centre

The Community Recreation Center adds 58,000SF of recreational facility space to the growing community of Abbotsford.   It is adjacent to the existing Abbotsford Recreation Centre/Swimming Pool, and ties in architecturally while adding much needed parking space to the community complex.

It provides additional gymnasiums, workout areas, senior, youth and children programming areas, as well as an elevated  indoor running track. The building utilizes a Geothermal Well system to augment the heating/cooling to lower the Owner's operating costs.  The exterior envelope uses Clayburn brick, which is produced near the historic Clayburn Factory nearby, thus adding value to Abbotsford's local economy.
